Not much noise at 5 PM when we sat down, but too much noise when we left after 6. Service followed the same curve. The food was great. Restaurant week fixed price menu was a good value.
Stopped at Ruvo for lunch on our way back from the Vanderbilt Museum, Mansion & Planetarium. It was random but a great choice. The decor is warm, the staff are friendly. The palate, portions, presentation, & price were just right.
Great cozy spot on Broadway in Greenlawn. Very nice decor, even with the plexiglass dividers. Food was excellent. The mozzarella de fresca had a nice balsamic drizzle. Rocket arugala salad had that beet and goat cheese combo that goes so well together. Just the slightest bit of dressing so as not to over power the flavors. The crispy duck was amazing. The apricot glaze was perfect. My wife had the chicken Gismonda, there was enough for 2 meals, which is just what happened. The short ribs didn't stand a chance with my friend. The hot antipasta for two had some great tastes and textures. There was enough of the veal scallopini for 2 meals as well the sauce over pasta was terrific. I would highly recommend Ruvo. Cheers

Off to Ruvo on St Patrick's Day for lunch! The interior and exterior have changed and are more modern than before. I was very happy to see all the artwork has been enhanced and moved around in the soft green colored rooms. No Irish music for mood, only contemporary. We began with two delicious bloody Marys, followed by potato leek soup which was delicious. We ordered our Saint Patrick's Day classic corned beef with small potatoes, cabbage and small carrot. Lunch portion. We had the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The bill including the tip was $94. Everything was nice, but a little pricey. I could have used another drink after the bill. We will return another time for regular lunch specials.
Annette and Olivia took such good care of us today. The food is always amazing and today was no exception. The turkey BLT? Yum!

Just had such an amazing lunch at Ruvo Greenlawn! Our server Lily was so knowledgeable and had such good gluten free recommendations. Their lunch pre fixe is such a deal!!!
Ruvo was my first time there, and I had an amazing experience from the food to the service. The waiter, Tod, was very kind and helpful, and the busboy Nick worked tirelessly, running food to the tables non-stop throughout the dinner service. It was incredible how they managed to keep everything running smoothly. The General Manager, Gina, was particularly attentive to all the customers, checking in on them and even stepping in to assist the waitstaff so no one had to wait long. Seeing a manager come out from behind the desk to help during a busy service really says a lot about the level of care and professionalism at this restaurant. The atmosphere inside was charming and cozy, giving off a welcoming, home-style feel. My MiMi fish meal was delicious, with a generous portion, and it was all topped off with an incredible birthday celebration that made the night even more special for two older people. What really stood out to me was the overall teamwork and outstanding service throughout the entire evening. From the moment we walked in until the end of the night, every staff member played a part in making sure guests were taken care of. It’s rare to see that level of coordination and genuine hospitality, and it truly made my first visit memorable. I highly recommend Ruvo to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be a returning customer! Please visit—you won’t be disappointed.
